Ivory Place

Have you looked at the households numbering next to Ivory Place and looking for those on a map to get an idea where it was?
 
just looking at this 1871 census..address bath row then underneath it looks like its say babingtons buildings ? just wondered if there is any connection..

john babington is living at no 8 bath row

I was confused for a while as Gough Street in the 1862 PO Directory AND on the 1861 cenus only goes to number 44.
That is why I asked for the name. The page before John Boddington has the road name

Believe it or not I think this is IRVING Street.

Irving Place is off Irving Street.
1900 Kelly's Directory entry for Irving Street. (Hence sightly different numbering). As Lyn says in post #7 Brunswick Place is also listed.
