the iron man in norway ?

hi folks at the min my son is a week into a 5 week tour of norway on his motorbike...reaches the arctic circle tomorrow then onto lofoten islands and then hoping to reach the north cape hoping to catch the midnight sun and northern lights...that aside he sent me these photos taken this morning and i thought what on earth is our iron man doing in norway lol ..i wondered if it was designed by the same person and yes they are both designed by sir antony gormley...the one in norway is called the mermaid..just a bit of interesting info i thought..

Apparently it is not Iron but granite.
