Katharine Menke later Lady Woolley

Yes, I got it wrong Janice, I was starting at the wrong end of the road. It looks like the house is still there as you say, I have circled it on the 1948 image.
It took me ages to work out where it was. Only by combining Kelly's and maps did it begin to make sense.
It has been a hostel for students, back to a house and now rather swish apartments.
I did wonder if he had built it but since it appears in 1905 with a Mrs Hunt there he obviously bought it.

My fault. The Kelly’s says at the start Harbourne Road to Somerset Road, and West and East sides.

Here is the OS Map second edition 1904.

I am doing some research into Katharine Woolley, Carl’s daughter, who was married to Leonard, the excavator of Ur in Iraq.
Thank you very much for all this extra information!
