Can someone confirm if these 2 photos were taken on the Snow Hill side of the station please?

Photographs are from the wonderful Stilltime Collection website - another little goldmine!!! - a search on "Birmingham" brings back 571 results - very few (if any) I have seen before - www.stilltimecollection.co.uk

Got to it in the end. Not sure why link did not work. Some of the attributions are a bit peculiar . such as for one below: " (though you cannot save photos and post,. have to copy and then post)

mark i would say yes they were taken on the snow hill side great photos...isnt that the old weslyan and general building corner of snow hill and colmore row. maybe someone could confirm that....just tried the link you posted but it does not work for me

I managed to get in via a google search, it's very slow to load mind.

As you say Mark, a little goldmine! mainly transport but a lot of pubs businesses, buildings, places etc in the background of the images to identify.

The first two are in front of the Snow Hill station hotel, some call it Colmore Row but in times past it was Steelhouse Lane as far as Livery Street then Colmore Row to Victoria Square. It was the terminus for Soho Road services (Handsworth, West Bromwich, Wednesbury and Dudley) and had been for the tram services beforehand.
