Colmore row map

Hi everyone, i am completing a historical project for the Uni of Birmingham, does anyone have any information on any older maps of Colmore row?

have you tried using our search box...just put in colmore row....its quite an extensive thread and may have old maps on it..as you know doubt know colmore row used to called ann street..hope this helps

Ann Street became an extension to Colmore Row. (So Ann Street didn't later form all of Colmore Row). Also Monmouth Street (previously Bull Lane and near Bull Street) also in time became part of Colmore Row.

In the C17th Colmore Row was New Hall Lane, presumably much shorter than the later and extended Colmore Row.

I took some photos of Cathedral Court, 15 Colmore Row. Which is part of the Hortons' Estate.

It was built in 1989 to replace a Victorian building that was on the corner with Livery Street.

Seems to retain the character / shape of the previous building on this site.
