I think the 2 nearest would have been Bromford Lane, and
the Washwood Heath one opposite St Marks Church ( I had
a caution in that one in my distant youth!)
If i remember correctly while at school at Hodge Hill Comp, Bromford Lane police station was built on a council rubbish tip before becoming a Police Station, pre 1967/8, i stand corrected
HI, I went to Hodge Hill School ‘71-’77 and remember an issue one year with masses of flies due to building work around the site of the police station and it being pretty warm. I‘m sure it was pre ‘76 and that long hot summer.
