Some of my ancestors are interred in Key Hill Cemetery.

My great great great grandfather Charles Perrins of Heath House Soho Hill was buried there in 1854 and there are 4 subsequent persons including his wife Sarah.

Charles was a merchant jeweller and had business connections in London. He was born in 1812 and was only 42 when he died.
His passing was recorded in Aris Bham Gazette in Aug 1854 .He had a son called Walter Chas Perrins who registered a mark at the assay office in 1893.

I know more about Walter than Chas who is somewhat of a mystery.

I would be interested to know from anyone else whose ancestors are interred in Key Hill or Warstone Lane....

John there are a lot of us who have ancestors buried at Key Hill cemetery. I have two family graves there and work as a volunteer when work permits. I am compiling a folder of people buried at Key Hill especially the more unknown. Is there a memorial stone for Charles at Key Hill? There is a thread about Key Hill Cemetery here; https://forum.birminghamhistory.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4830

Alberta
The description of the district says it includes “all that part of Villa St known as George St from the Lozells road to Wills St “ So it is the present George St. Just the Erdington bit that seems peculiar to us
