If the signature is on the photo image then its authentic. If it is on the white portion at the bottom then it is printed. But Noele Gordon did also request unsigned photos too with a different photo :)

When I was an apprentice we used to print all of Crossroads casts presentation photos they gave to fans. They never actually signed the cards as their signatures were also printed in biro blue ink on the bottom white portion of the photos....

The gentleman on the bottom right holding the pen is Mr. Cogley, a firm but fair teacher. The young woman's profile is my mentor and teacher Nerys Evans. The day the school closed she hugged me so tight as though she was losing a son.

I was at the New Nelson St for my last junior year after Steward St closed. Mr England was the headmaster, he did have a handlebar moustache and yes he did have a magic roundabout toy on his desk in his office.

Hi John. I was at Steward St School from the age of 4 and was there the day it closed.....We were all in the playground, teachers, pupils and it was very emotional! The curriculum was still guided by A.R. Stone's philosophies and was an exciting place to be, albeit still young kids some of us...

I was born in Ingleby St and went to Steward St from '63 to '69, i was there the day it closed. Teachers I remember were Mrs. Evans, Mr. Cogley and Miss Hands. It was a great school, thank you for bringing back so many happy memories. Paul
