    Bradford street

    I think the idea of it being a metal foundry in the 1850's is a good one. My ancestors are shown on the 1851 census as living at 114 Bradford Street and the wife's occupation is Brass Founder (mistress employing 11 hands). It would make sense that they lived close to the foundry wouldn't it. I...
