    J and R Smith,were carpet dealers,formed in the 1830's,who spent many years in Bull Street. A larger outlet was set up in Liverpool and was very successful. I have a few newspaper cuttings from the BNA,but amlooking for any information,photos etc. Tony Smith

    I have links to J and R Smith, a carpet dealer who eventually moved to Bull Street. I know they also opened another shop in Liverpool which became very successful. I have some info . on both,but not too much on the B-ham branch. Willing to share my bits and hopeful someone can help. Tony
