    Obituary 1994

Hi all…. I wondered if I could ask if anyone has a newspaper archive subscription If you would be so kind to search for Martin paul stokes who passed away in 1994. In Birmingham. I was told there’s a short article about his death. He was cremated at lodge hill. Thankyou.

    Yardley Cemetery Plot Map

Just wanted to add this map. I worked out myself that section 60 corresponds with section D after finding a family member. I now have another headstone to find in section C which I’m hoping are the sections before that(which would make sense) Either way… it is annoying when maps change.

Ahh it says 79 In 1911 the year he died, so the fact the cemetery have 78 is just an error.

Why are you a family historian?

I think for me definitely turning 40 had a part to play and it made me reflect on my own life and the people who came before me. Ive always been drawn to history and cemeteries, so ancestry felt like a natural extension of that. So although I still build on my own family tree, ive now started to...

    Iommi family

No way that's crazy about the age on the gravestone being wrong. The way this women was talking earlier there was no way it could be an error. So when I called earlier, id actually got through to the office that deals with witton and that way, so although they gave me plot info she couldn't see...

Hi there, could I ask a favour for anyone with ancestry membership, There is one documented burial plot at Yardley cemetery for an Edward Lewis 1830-1911 But my records have his death date 7th march 1911 which would make him 81 when he passed, and yardley have 78 years age of death, which would...

St Joseph’s church (nechells) help with the map below ⬇️

so all the graves are next to each other, some are a little off though to where it indicates on the map. Its very overgrown all that area so its hard to see them all. But I just don't get where 4/87 would be.
