    Old Naval Expressions In Daily Use

    My dad (and myself since) always used the phrase 'red sky at night, sailors delight'. This has led to many an argument with landlubbers in the family who insist on 'shepherd's delight'.

    Sky Blue Pink

    Same general part of the saying itself but my grandmother always said 'sky blue pink, with a yellow border.
