    The Monica pub Small Heath

    'The Monica' was often referred to during my youth. I was born in Starbank Road in 1955, and lived in my Grandads house, who was Thomas Davis, and was a firm regular at 'The Monica', He died in '68 so you may not remember him as one of the old boys propping up the bar.
