    Thanks Shera, that's really useful. I think I have tracked down John & Elizabeth Mace in 1841 and John & Mary Mace in 1851, and have an idea that Mary & Elizabeth are sisters from Bromsgrove, and that fits them rather nicely into my family tree :)))) Its a pity they didn't record the fathers...
