I'll ask my Mother-in-law who grew up in B'ham and is now aged 97. She says hop scotch, whip and top, tag, hide & seek, eye spy, made dolls houses out of cardboard and tops off things.
My grandmother Agnes Parlett ran a shop on Green Lanes Sutton Coldfield - this is a photo of the inside.
This was the outside. The house is still there. The shop rebuilt as a garage now with extension above. The house is opposite Wylde Green Primary school. Anyone remember it and my gran?
