I worked at Martin's Florist on Soho Road, a few shops up towards Hockley from the Ninhiver Dance Studio (spelling may be wrong) next to the butchers. My bosses brother owned the Grove Florist on Grove Lane just around the corner from the light. Things certainly have changed. Mo

You are right Dek, there was a Scout Rally every year in Handsworth Park. Alan that is where you would have gone as all my friends in scouting in Sutton came each year. We had the most amazing time every year with the parades on the streets and in the park and the fund raising booths the groups...
