    Hi Rach, I was at Lea Village school from 1955/56 /1960/61 so would possibly have been just leaving as your dad arrived. I would have been in the 5th year when he started. Regards Ralph ( formally known as Ben at school)

    Hi I was at the school from 1956-7 through to 1961 ish. It was a separate boys and girls school back then. I had a nickname back the of Ben, most people never knew my real name. Even teachers referred to me as Ben. I don't remember the pig club but we did have a school farm in the Cotswolds...
