Thanks for the information. The din and vibrations from the factory for the residents of 6, 7 & 8 would have been terrible. The living conditions in Digbeth were amongst the grimmest of the time and the majority of these poor people had no way out. We've come a long way in 4 generations.

None of the other courts in the area are named and Court 1 is closest to the markets so there must be something different about Court 2. I'll keep digging.
