I was there from 1963 to 1966 and was always in the block. As an older pupil, I sometimes supervised the dorms at bedtime until the staff took over.

I have been reading an old thread about but buses and it bought memories flooding back. When I left school in 1966, I started my working life at cross field rd bus garage in kitts green. They still had some of the old trolley buses in storage at the side of the workshop. Peter

I was a pupil at Nelson at school from 1955_1961. I remember the head was Mr English and was a minor loca celebrity. He once gave me threepence (1.5p) for getting a question right in assembly. Brings back a few memories when I see the (new) school. Peter
