I was born in Heathfield Road Birmingham. My parents were Rhys Griffiths and Lilian Styles. Dad was Welsh from Tonypandy and mom English before marriage lived with her parents in 93 Witton Road Aston. I have one sister Christine We lived at 26 Birchfield Road Handsworth ( not far from Six Ways Aston and diagonally opposite Mansfield Road). we moved in early 60s when underpass was being built and road widening and demolition of our house. I went to Albert Road Primary/junior school and Manor Park Secondary Girls School. In 1964 I emigrated to Australia
