    Osborne Road School Erdington

    No I don't think it was a special school I think the cottage homes were close by. I remember a friend from the home - Colin Purcell (I think). I do remember Mrs Rushton and Mr Watkins in my final year there.

    Thorp of Crown & Cushion Perry Barr

    Just started some family history research and I am told that my maternal great aunt (Thorp - son Arthur - best I can do) used to run the Crown and Cushion in Perry Barr. Arthur was born in 1894 so it would be around that time or maybe earlier. Does anyone know of a history page or whatever...
