Wish I’d seen this earlier. My 3 times great grand father is the Joe Wareham ( Warom) mentioned in some of the articles. He fought Hammers brother Tom Lane in May 1844. “Hammer” is described as “ renowned “ in the article and Tom is said to be his fourth brother.
Would it be ok to use this image? I’m running a page on Facebook trying to save the Horsefair mosaic at Holloway Head Circus. I’m writing a post on the church past and present. I have a fantastic aerial photo of the old church that would provide a great comparison. I’d be eternally grateful!
