Many thanks Lyn, I have seen the Hospital Street thread but unfortunately I couldn't find any reference to these flats.

So I'm just reading Carl Chinn's book on Birmingham Council Houses, "Homes for People" and he mentions the first private flats built in Hospital St in Birmingham. Have these survived until now as the YMCA flats? TIA
