    Hi all, doing some research for a relative. Ernest passed away in 1961, Yardley. I recall when doing my Davis research. Someone managed to get a front page clipping of how my grandfather died. It was upsetting but really helped me. I haven't got access to newspapers, no Ancestry for 4 months...

    Yes, I picked that up too. Maybe assuming he was a soldier. This is sad confusing one. Glad mine was easier, even though went down wrong road. Luckily had a certificate 1842 on prove my gt gt grandfather. Thank you for the time you've put in. Keith
