    On the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site that information appears but nothing else. I contacted a chap from the KRRC Association who said he was born in Birmingham but moved to London. IIRC my pal said he was working in Aston I think, but I’ll check with him tonight!

    In my local an Irish builder said to me I found a medal when I was replacing a sewer pipe in Birmingham about 30 years ago. He brought in a 1914-18 Star that had been in a drawer for years! The name on it turns out to be Rifleman John Harris Whitehead, 12th Bn. KRRC who died on 21st March 1918...
