Windmill pub Dudley Road
On the old midlandspubs site it stated that the name of this former beer house commemorated the windmill that once stood across the heath. It was demolished to make way for the Birmingham Union Workhouse. The windmill, although not ancient, was active during the 18th century.- Monroe Hickman
