thanks for replying crunchie, i did find out that my ancester was buried in the eccleshall rd cemetary in stafford by contacting staffordshire county council bereavement services... i dont know if all patients who died there were buried in that cemetary and whether that would help you at all.
have you had any luck with this? my relative died there 1859 but i am struggling to find any records. also does anyone know where patients who died at the asylum were buried? thanks
