    Thankyou for the info. My ancestor lived in Moor st, Wolverhampton. I wonder if there was another Viaduct pub in that area? Many thanks :-)

    With regard to The Viaduct pub, Lawley St. Does anyone know if it was ever called the Viaduct Inn? Also when it was built? Researching my family history, I have discovered an ancestor who possibly owned the pub between 1900 and 1926. Her name is Kitson. Many thanks

    Hi everyone, I have just looked at the Birmingham England site (Brookfields and Winson Green) and was shocked to see the photo of the remains of the workhouse,Western road. I think something should be done to save this little bit of Brum's history. It's sad to see it like this after the memorial...

    Evans family

    Looking for descendants of my grandparents, James and Mary Evans. Originally from Westbromwich and Wolverhampton. Lived in Winchester grove,Wattville rd,Handsworth where my father John was born in 1906. There were another six brothers and sisters.:) Grateful for any info.
