    Moor Green connections to Hockley??

    A lot late to the table here, but does anyone know how the Bagot Street house numbers worked on this map? Did the numbers increase moving east? i.e. from left to right? Were odd/even numbers on different side of the street? I'm interested in whereabouts no.77 Bagot Street would have been

    PITCH, Nicholas 1810-1842

    Gun Barrel Borer. Died age 32 at the back of 77 Bagot Street. Apparently the son of John PITCH, a sailor. I have his 1838 marriage but can't get back further. Anyone seen this name anywhere?
