I have a new question for you all. I have old Share Certificates dated 5th November 1980 and 14th November 1978, and want information on who the directors signing them could be.

Josiah Francis PEPPER was 1841 - 1907 - he founded the jewellers firm of Payton Pepper.
Josiah had 7 sons and 3 daughters (1 of the daughters was my g g grand-mother)
Sir Francis Henry PEPPER was 1863 - 1936
Ernest Charles PEPPER was 1861 - 1915 (I think he died in action)

I am surprised that no-one has posted a thread relating to the Peppers. Josiah Francis PEPPER was my g g grand-father. Does anyone know anything that I haven't found yet?

Ann Payton married Josiah Pepper 1st Jan 1861. They were my great great grandparents (I think that's the right number of "great"s). My maiden name is Whitehouse and had shares in PP.
