    Many thanks for your reply, but I think the street numbering has changed. Upper Mary Street is shown on the map published in 1889, but by 1905 the "Upper" part of the name has disappeared. His birth certificate says he was born at 130 Upper Mary Street Balsall Heath, district of Kings Norton...
