My mother, Cynthia Edwards was born in Birmingham in 1924. Her mom, Wilhelmina Louisa Mitchell, (my Nana) was born in Australia in 1900 because her Mom, Elizabeth Jane Green (my Great grandmother) went there for work? and got married. Elizabeth Jane was also born in Birmingham in 1868. Her father was Henry Thomas Green born in Birmingham in 1840. Elizabeth Jane's husband died and she came back with the three babies.
