I am researching my family tree. My maternal grandfather, surname PRESTON, came from Ladywood in Birmingham. Sadly I never knew him. As my family tree grows, I add as much information to each person as I can, including old photographs of the places they lived to help build up a picture of how they lived. Many of the old city streets I have searched for nationwide have been lost to development, or even war damage! I regret that I cannot contribute a great deal to this site, but I look forward to browsing the wonderful pictures here, and maybe even connect with a distant relative or someone with the same research interests.
