Hi yes I have that info and have found him living with parents Joseph and wife Emma Hilton in 1871 census at Canalside Northfields Kings Norton name HEMERS.....then can't find them in 1881 census so wondering if on canal...
Researching family history of Solomon and Leah Amos from central Birmingham previously mentioned in another post on here. Think their ancestors may have been on canals,
I too am researching Amos family tree and my husband is a descendant of Solomon and Leah family. Seems that name was Hames in previous censuses but cannot find them in 1881........
