    I used to be a milkman and we used deliver milk to Co-op pots and pans on Redfurn Rd, Tyseley,I used to watch them spinning on belt driven machinery in factory1953.All the factory,s there were on our round.

    My ex father in law was Ralph Strong his father was Jonas Strong haulier who lived in Yardley Birmingham.He used haul coke from Saltley Gasworks.

    Co-op Dairies In The 40's

    This used to be our horse when I worked there after leaving school in 1953,the roundsman's name was George we used to deliver milk in Tyseley rounb by Smith's crisps and all round there.
