Don't know if you are familiar with Bartley Green, the churchyard is in Field Lane and the 'new' St. Michael's on the corner of Field Lane/Romsley Road where the War Memorial is. I know he isn't a direct relative of yours but thought you might like this photo of William Firman that was taken...
Yes, that is the photo we have of James Wheeler, I'd forgotten we had put it in the book.
12 of James and Mary's children were baptised at St. Michael & All Angels and the four that died, mentioned in the 1911 census, are also buried in the churchyard. That is 1896 (Edith) Caroline aged...

Many thanks. (Would acknowledge you as the originator if you supply your surname).
The Bartley Green District History Group purchased the 'date stone' from the Stonehouse Pub, it was hoped the bricks would contain a 'frog' to identify where they were made, i.e. Smarts Brickworks opposite, but none were found.
Re: Bartley Green-schools-cutler Family
We (B.Green History Group) are adding wedding photos from St Michaels to our archives, any chance we could get a copy or two?
Re: Bartley Green-schools-cutler Family
I think I should start a TOPIC for Bartley Green so that people who want to know or ask about the area can find it easily :fat: I'm uploading a photo of Field Lane and wonder if you could identify which building was used for the school annex, or indeed...
