Thanks to both Phil and Mike for sharing your knowledge. Is it just coincidence then that 224 Aston Road was lived in by Thomas Goodhead in 1858, and this is not the same place as 224 New Town Row in 1841? Trying to match up old maps with new is confusing when so much has changed.

Hi Has anyone access to a map which might show where the above address was? It is listed in the 1841 Census between households 224 New Town Row and 230 New Town Row. The census ref is HO107/113/14 B'ham St George. There are 2 households listed as No 1 Mr Goodhead's Yard and likewise No 2. No...
