Does anyone remember Winters?
I used to go there with my Vegetarian grand parents.In the fifties.
Near the Law Courts.
Quite rare to have a vegetarian shop and restaurant in those days.
My mother Mrs B.Butler was a nurse at Lucas for a while in the '70s?Not sure where.But she had to check on the workers in the Plating shop.
The men also kept her Morris Traveller car going!Brand new it was not one of BMC's best products!
There was a private park in Moseley with access off the Moseley Road in the village by a bookstore I thinkand from Salisbury road down the hill.
Anyone know any more about it?
I was a pupil at Moseley New College from about 1950 to 1955.
I remember Mr Young and Miss Kemp-I may have a couple of school photos somewhere.Some good and bad memories.Not sure
of the history but it had seen better days.
