Hi RobT, I have just read the Agreement as to Managership of the Rainbow Inn Bordesley dated 16th October 1935 to F D Fleming.
Then 11th Nov. 1941 the agreement passed to Gladys- on the 2nd May 1945 she was granted by Petty Sessions to sell intoxicating liquor on VE Day Celebrations

Hi RobT, Frances David Fleming (1896>1941). Gladys Elizabeth Fleming (1896>1974) took over as License from 1941>194?. As to the later date it must be later, as I remember being around. The next time I pick up Gladys is at the Wellington Inn (Bridge Street West) 1957>1966 (recorded). As she did...
