Oh I will try and look into that I have been doing family research and before Samuel Usher his father was an agricultural labourer so we wondered where he might have picked this trade up from . I unknowingly picked up the jewellery making trade after a lapse of two generations and found this out...

Im trying to find out information on Samuel Usher Ltd. this was my Great great grandfather, he had a manufacturing jewellery workshop at 123 Vyse Street Hockley. From 1880 to about 1945 when his sons dissolved the business. Any help or images very gratefully received.
