I have recently discovered that my Great Grandmother is buried at Yardley Cemetery. She died June 1902.
The mystery for me is why Yardley cemetery when she lived in Wrentham Street. Her family all lived in Gloucester Street next to St Martins and so why not be buried near there?

In this photo I think that is the corner shop on the far left. That side of the street would be odd numbers and do you think number 36 could be opposite the shop?

Back in the 1950's I lived at 244 Frederick Road. It was the house next to Prince Albert school.
