    My maternal grandparents lived at 282 Summer Lane from 1931-1934. I really appreciate seeing this photo - thank you!

    Watt Street/Chapel Street General Stores Handsworth

    This is a fabulous find - thanks for posting the photo. My maternal grandparents lived at 63 Chapel Street, directly opposite the chapel, until re-housed in 1976 just before demolition. I recall the house in great detail. I often wonder who the landlord was? Birmingham council, maybe?
