Higgins chemist shop
The Higgings chemist shop in Somerville rd was my Great Grandfathers his son died in the war on HMS Gloucester. The family lived in Acocks Green for sometime. Knowle some of the time during the war. Looking for information on maternity /cottage hospital in Acocks Green and the matrons name who worked in a nursing home in a road possibly next to Kilmorie rd who delivered a baby that's my Auntie in 1943.
