    I was back in drum last week and drove down Glenavon rd to see my old house in kingsthorpe rd. it was weird after 50 years.

    she was rea same as her father, my mother before she married and also me Carolyn rea until my mother married Donald cattle when I was 5 and Phoebe never married . my aunt told me this and she is still alive.

    hi, yes my Phoebe was born 1882 and had my grandad Arthur. there was another Phoebe born a bit later which made my work harder but his daughter , my aunt told me she never married so iv given up. what relations do you have that led to your Phoebe

    hi, my mothers maiden name was rea we were all registered in that name until she married mr d cattle then my name was changed only. mum died before I found out about the twins.

    I believe my mother had twin babies sometime after 1954 when I was born. but have no details except they were born at Sorrento hospital as we all were and mothers name was Joyce rea or battle. is there any way of finding their birth details and if they were adopted or died.

    extra to my earlier post, I went to torrent for a midwife appointment, they found I had toxaemia and I didnt get to go back home , I was in a month before I gave birth but they looked after me well.

    hi, it wasn't the best life experience, we must have gone there after the people who took over from your hubby, I was about 10 I reckon as I was left in charge of my siblings who were younger than me and I was born in 1954.

    I thought so, the alley led to two laundry sheds and two small gardens which were for the back 2 houses not for us, my mum had a row with the house behind as he shouted at us for going in his garden. 3 kids and no garden was tough.

    I remember going to get coal with a pram from 38 upper sutton street, my mum sang in pubs at night for wages.

    hi I just found out I lived in 38 upper Sutton street about 1960s it had houses through an entry at the back. I was about 8-10
