    Great photos next time you go there it be gone knocked down same here between Blackpool Preston they uncovered lineside huts and even a HG Pillbox yes they knocked them down they are not doing any harm Yes off topic now but it makes my blood boil good job you took photos

    I hit the track in 65 by then it was 6d for 30 mins and they were only allowing 12 bikes on the track at one time as i said in Aston Park thread a kind staff member taught how to ride on a 20 inch frame i was whizzing around on my own on second vist i can see all those Yellow bikes in the racks now

    i recall it being on BRMB Radio shortly after it had happened i was with my Irish born Dad who shock his head and said looks like PIRA have started a Bombing campaign in the UK

    Yes it kept going for a number of years But once i got my own bike i never used it again I do recall you being able to to take your own bike on the circut

    Im sure the end shop was a Taxi place in the mid 70s used to get a Cab from there after a night out in Bloomers NC in the Swan Centre the shop left to Wool Shop was a second hand tool shop in the 80s called Toolman brought a lot of vintage hand tools from there which i still have and use today

    Mortum Morturn behind the cameraman is the bridge as you lived in the area did you ever go under thr bridge as i did it was sandy with rats found 303 rds coins and clay pipes after digging
