Hi I was there from 1957-62, I remember Killer Gilbert and his yellow tinted glasses, he drove Sunbeam Talbot coupe
as though he was in a Rally race up the drive.
I played for Erdington Hall Junior School in 1956. We played in Jaffrey Road playing fields, I vaguely remember
Achieving 7wickets for 11 runs which should have been 8 wits but the ball was travelling so slow it didn’t knock
the bails off the Stumps.
I worked at both the beehives from 1965-1970? Firstly in the men’s suit wear in the basement then electrical dept and when we moved to priory circus I was the buyer for china, glassware, luggage, stationary and toys. Brilliant Memories and friends
