Chippy
I was at Greenmore College at the Handsworth branch from the age of 8 until my 11+. They were wonderful years, perhaps the best memories of schooldays. At almost 75 I am allegedly retired but I am working selectively and enjoying every second. I am a scientist by qualification (Physics) but there are no restrictions to imagination and my current work involves a lot of that. If there are any other members that attended Greenmore in Handsworth and remember using their bicycle pumps as makeshift air guns using the red berries from the Hawthorn bushes stuffed into the end then please send me a message. So many from that era have passed on and it would be good to reminisce.
