A birth certificate of a person I'm researching lists the place of birth (in 1878) as Farm Road, Aston. The Farm Road I can find is located in Sparkhill. Would that have been covered by Aston in the late 1880s and the proper way to nominate the place of birth then (rather than Sparkhill)? If so...
