Also, Ada was sent to Canada aboard the ship Siberian in 1905 to Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada. She spent her life about 1.5 hours away from that dock raising her family, in West Branch, Nova Scotia.

Oh my goodness those are quite the stories about Samuel Turner and his Father and brother. Seems a very dysfunctional past. Yikes! It does however speak to some of how my Great Grandmother came to settle in Canada as an orphan and "Home Child".
My family (Mom, and cousins) believe he may have been arrested while Selina was in the asylum if that's helpful. The story is a "Doosie" (Excuse my Canadian term)
