I missed the biggest clue in my family tree my Grandma (mom’s mom ) is called Sarah Tranter so it’s more than likely Tranters coal yard

I remember my Mom saying my Grandad found a dead body in that canal which he reported and said it wasn’t a pretty site when pulled out
